Terms of Use and Sale
These Terms of Use and Sale cover everything under The Bull: this website, the book and the Bull app. They are in three parts. Part A applies to everyone who uses this site or buys any Bull product. Part B applies to digital products such as the book. Part C applies to Bull app memberships. If you are joining the Bull app, please read the notice of your cancellation rights at the start of Part C.
Part A. General terms (everything we do)
These terms apply to this website and to every Bull product.
A1. Who we are
The Bull is a brand of TURNFIT PERSONAL TRAINERS LTD., a British Columbia company ("TurnFit", "we", "us"), carrying on business as "They Call Me The Bull" and "The Bull Online". TurnFit operates this website and is the seller of every Bull product: today that is the book and the Bull app, and it will be the seller of any product we launch later. David Turnbull is the coach behind The Bull. Your agreement is with TurnFit, and TurnFit takes your payments.
A2. What these terms cover
The products that exist today are the book, Longevity Notes: Starter (a digital ebook), and the Bull app (planned to open in early November 2026). Courses are future products and are not for sale yet. Once a course or other new product launches, these terms cover it from launch: Part A, and Part B if it is a digital product. Any extra terms for a product will be shown on its page before you buy.
A3. Not medical advice
The Bull, including this website, the book, the Bull app and any podcast, video or other content we publish, gives general information and training guidance only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your doctor, physiotherapist or other health professional. It is meant to work alongside them. What we publish is not right for everyone. If you have a health condition or injury, check with your doctor before you start. Stop exercising and get medical help if you feel chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness or faintness. In an emergency, call 911.
A4. Intellectual property
This website, the book, plans, written, audio and video content, and The Bull and TurnFit names and logos belong to TurnFit or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal use only, as set out in Part B and Part C. Don't copy, share or resell them.
A5. Limits of liability
We work hard to keep this website and our products useful and available, but they are provided "as is". They may sometimes be unavailable, have errors, or change. We don't promise any weight, strength, health or other outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income or lost data; and (b) for any claim that is not for personal injury or death, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This section does not limit any right that the law says cannot be limited, including your rights under BC consumer protection law. For the Bull app, Section 15 of Part C applies, and the assumption of risk and release is in the Health & Safety Disclaimer (see Part C).
A6. Privacy and emails
We handle personal information under BC and Canadian privacy law (BC PIPA and PIPEDA). Our privacy officer is David Turnbull ([email protected]). This website's Privacy Policy is at theycallmethebull.com/privacy. For the Bull app, what we collect, who handles it, where it is stored and your rights are in the app's Privacy Policy at app.theycallmethebull.com/privacy.
Emails. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We will still send you the emails we need to send about your purchase or membership (receipts, your copy of these terms, renewal and price-change notices), even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
A7. Governing law and general
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. If you live outside BC, you may also have rights under the consumer laws where you live that these terms can't take away. Nothing in these terms stops you from going to court or the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal, joining a class action, or posting an honest review. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over The Bull, and we will tell you if we do; you may not transfer your purchase or membership.

Part B. Digital products (the book, and future courses)
Part B applies to digital products: today, the book; and courses and other digital products once they launch.
B1. What you get
The book, Longevity Notes: Starter, is a digital ebook (a PDF). It is delivered by instant download after checkout, and a confirmation email may be sent to the address you used at checkout. The price is shown on the book page before you buy. It is a starting point, not the whole library.
B2. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
B3. Personal-use licence
When you buy a digital product, TurnFit gives you a personal licence to read and use it for yourself. The licence is not transferable. Don't copy, share, resell or redistribute it, or post it online.
B4. Refunds
A digital product is delivered by instant download as soon as you pay. For that reason, all sales of digital products are final, except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms takes away any cancellation or refund right you have under British Columbia consumer protection law. The Bull app is different: its cancellation and refund rights are in Part C. If you have a question before you buy, or trouble with your download, send us a message through the contact form or email [email protected], and include the email you used at checkout.
B5. Courses
Courses are future products and are not for sale yet. When a course launches, it will be a digital product covered by Part A and this Part B, unless its page shows extra terms before you buy.
Part C. Bull app membership
Part C is the agreement for your Bull app membership. It matches the Terms of Service published in the app at app.theycallmethebull.com/terms. The following app pages are part of the agreement: Privacy Policy, Health & Safety Disclaimer and Informed Consent, Refund & Cancellation Policy and AI Disclosure.
You're buying a monthly, AI-assisted training and nutrition app built on David Turnbull's methods. It is not live coaching and not medical care. You pay monthly. You can cancel any time. You have a 10-day cancel-for-any-reason window. Your health data stays private.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel this contract for any reason until 10 days after you receive a copy of it. If we email it, we count it as received 3 days after we send it. If you cancel in that time, we refund everything you paid within 15 days. You can also cancel later in the situations listed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. To cancel, use Account > Cancel membership or email [email protected]. Email gives you proof of delivery. This is a contract to which BC's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act applies.

1. Who we are
We are TurnFit Personal Trainers Ltd., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. David Turnbull created the methods in the app and is the person behind it. TurnFit is David's separate in-person training business. A TurnFit membership is a different product with different terms.
2. What you get
The service ("the Service") is the web app at app.theycallmethebull.com. It includes a training programme drafted by AI from your answers, using David's methods; daily calorie and macro targets calculated from a formula using your details and goal; food logging with AI meal estimates that you can confirm or edit; workout, weigh-in, measurement and journal logging; weekly written advice based on what you log; and a safety screen. Some answers put your plan on hold until David looks at it.
What it is not. It is not live coaching. There are no live calls, no chat with a coach and no appointments. It is not medical care, physiotherapy or dietitian advice. See the Health & Safety page.
Who reviews what. AI drafts your plan using David's methods. Plans go live automatically, and David reviews them afterward. A plan with a health flag waits for David first. David does not read every log, meal or note. Weekly advice is released after David approves it. There is no Plus plan and no live-call add-on in this version.
Technical needs. Use current Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge on a phone or computer, with an internet connection. Photos need a camera or photo library. Push reminders are optional.
3. Who can join
- You must be 19 or older and live in Canada, outside Quebec.
- Accounts are by invite sent after you pay. One person per account. Don't share your login.
- You must be able to enter a contract. If you're not, please don't join.
4. Price and payment
4.1 Prices. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The prices are in the table above. Founding is CAD $29/month for 12 months, then CAD $99/month. Standard is CAD $99/month. There is no approximate price and no Plus price.
4.2 Tax. Prices are in CAD. GST of 5% is added and shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes Tax is shown at checkout and on every receipt. GST/HST no. 727719114 RT0001
4.3 Monthly renewal. Your membership renews automatically every month on the date you first paid. Stripe charges the card you gave. You can cancel the renewal any time, before or after a renewal date, with no fee. See section 5.
4.4 Founding offer. The first 100 members get the Standard plan for CAD $29/month for 12 months. To qualify you must be one of the first 100 to complete checkout. The founding price is scheduled for your first 12 months. We email you 45 days before it ends (inside a 30 to 60 day window) to say the price becomes CAD $99/month. If you cancel, the 12-month price schedule is released. If you resume before the paid month ends, that schedule is not rebuilt, so the subscription can stay on the founding price. A later new checkout is not promised the founding price. There are no promo codes or bonuses.
4.5 After the founding price. The regular Standard price is CAD $99/month.
4.6 If a payment fails. Stripe retries the card. We keep your access open for 3 days after the first failed payment. After that your access pauses until payment succeeds. We keep your data while paused. If it stays unpaid, your membership ends.
4.7 Billing mistakes. If we charge you twice or the wrong amount, tell us. David decides the correction, and we refund the difference within 15 days.
5. Cancelling and refunds
The full rules are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of this agreement. In short: cancel any time in the app or by email. You keep access to the end of the month you've paid for. We won't charge you again. Cancel within 10 days after you receive this agreement for any reason and get a full refund. Otherwise no refund for a month you've started, except billing mistakes, the app truly not working for you, and rights you have under BC law.
6. Changes
6.1 What we may change. We may change the monthly price, the features and plan names, and these terms. That's the full list of things we may change without your signature.
6.2 How. We give you at least 30 and no more than 60 days' notice by email. The notice includes the new wording, a plain explanation and, if the change costs you more or gives you less, your right to cancel at no charge.
6.3 What we won't change. We won't change cancellation or refund terms in a way that makes them worse for you without your agreement.
6.4 Safety or law changes. If we must change something sooner to protect you or follow the law, we'll do only what's needed and tell you right away.
7. Health and safety
Training and nutrition carry risk. Read the Health & Safety Disclaimer and Informed Consent. You must accept it before your first workout. It is part of this agreement.
8. AI
The Service uses AI to draft and adjust plans and advice. Read the AI Disclosure. AI makes mistakes. You decide whether to follow any suggestion.
9. Your account and how to use the Service
- Give true answers, especially on health questions. Update them if things change.
- Keep your password private. Tell us if someone else gets in.
- Don't misuse the Service: no copying, scraping, reselling, reverse engineering or sharing the programmes.
- Don't upload photos of other people without their permission.
- Don't upload anything illegal or harmful.
10. Your content
Your content means what you put in: answers, logs, journal text, meal photos, body or posture photos, weigh-ins and lab files. It's yours. We don't own it. You give us a limited licence to store it, process it and use it to run the Service for you. If you've ticked the AI box, that includes sending the allowed fields to our AI provider. Nothing else. We don't use your content in marketing. Before-and-after photos or testimonials only with a separate, optional written consent you can withdraw. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
11. Our content
The programmes, rules, methods, text, designs, logos and app are ours or our licensors'. "They Call Me The Bull" and "The Bull Online" are our brand names. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use your plan and the app for your own training while you're a member. Please don't share or sell them. You may keep your own logs and plans for your own use after you cancel.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who handles it, where it's stored and your rights. It is part of this agreement.
13. Emails and notifications
- Service emails (your login invite, receipts, your agreement copy, price-change notices, safety notes, billing problems) are sent whether or not you've asked for marketing.
- Reminders (weigh-in, workout) are on by default. Turn them off in Account. They stay functional. They don't carry promotions.
- Marketing emails come only if you opt in (for example on our website). Every one has our address and an unsubscribe link.
14. Availability, suspension and ending
- We aim to keep the Service running, but we don't promise it will never be down.
- We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, misuse the Service, don't pay, or if we reasonably think it's unsafe for you. If we end it for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the month you've paid.
- If we stop offering the Service, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of the month you've paid.
- After your membership ends, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy says.
15. Our responsibility to you
- The Service is provided as is for general fitness and nutrition information. We don't promise any result, weight change, health outcome or that the Service will be error-free.
- To the fullest extent BC law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (like lost income) or losses you could have avoided.
- To the fullest extent BC law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- None of this limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit, including for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and it doesn't limit any rights you have under BC consumer protection law or the consumer laws of your province.
- The injury release and assumption of risk are in the Health & Safety Disclaimer (section 13).
16. Health release
By accepting the Health & Safety Disclaimer and Informed Consent, you agree to its release and assumption-of-risk section. It applies only as the law allows.
17. Law and disputes
- BC law and the federal laws of Canada that apply in BC govern these terms.
- If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected]. We'll answer within 5 business days. You don't have to do this before taking any other step.
- You can bring a claim in the BC courts or the Civil Resolution Tribunal, and you can complain to Consumer Protection BC. This does not limit your right to use the courts of your province where the law gives you that right.
- No mandatory arbitration, no class-action waiver. You can post honest reviews anywhere.
18. General
- If a part of these terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies.
- These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Health & Safety Disclaimer, the AI Disclosure and the Refund & Cancellation Policy are the whole agreement.
- You can't transfer your account. We may transfer our business with the same obligations to you.
- A copy of this agreement is emailed to you within 15 days (we send it right away). You can save and print it. Ask us any time for another copy.

- English governs.
